RevoU Full Stack Digital Marketing: Expectations vs Reality

Can you imagine what the future will be like? With the rapid development of the digital world, I believe that in the future everything will be digital-oriented. Thus, we must learn to adapt and learn the things we passionate about in the digital world, including Digital Marketing. 📱💻

and finally....

Congratulations! 🙌I'm sure you found this post because you're already in the consideration stage to join the Full Stack Digital Marketing program at RevoU. In this post, you will find my story before and after joining RevoU's Full Stack Digital Program (what I imagined before and the reality I experience). Okay, let's get started:

1. Learning Process

Expectations:
Come to the course and then sit down and listen to a one-way explanation from the Instructor.

Reality:
Before the course starts, RevoU provides many literatures and requires us understand the material that will be taught in advance. Next, when the class starts, we will join Menti-Quiz to pump our spirits and help us to remember the material we have learned. After that, the instructor will provide two-way learning materials (there is a special day for Q&A too) and we are free to ask everything, both from the material or the challenges we face in the real world according to the topics discussed.
After the class is over, a questionnaire will be given by RevoU and we are free to give feedback to the RevoU team, including the instructor.

2. Instructor & RevoU Team Expectations: There is only one instructor for all Digital Marketing materials and there is a class leader who will assist the Instructor in organizing the class. Reality: Instructors teach according to their expertise (one topic one instructor). RevoU team also accompanies us during the learning process: Section Manager (leader of the class who will guide all learning processes), Team Lead (lecturer assistant who provides technical simulations on the topics discussed) and sometimes in several sessions other RevoU people (maybe from Faculty) come to see the learning process. So overall, the learning process went smoothly.

3. Examination Expectations: Exams will be held at the end of the program in the form of multiple choice. Reality: In each topic, there are questions or assignment with different levels of difficulty. Foundation Assignment to test basic knowledge in the form of multiple-choice questions. Intermediate Assignment requires us to provide complete answers to fulfill essay questions, and the last one is Advance Assignment which contains a real business world problem and we are asked to formulate digital marketing strategies (or others) to achieve goals according to the topics discussed.
4. Group Project Expectations: There is no group system and all learning is individual Reality: There are several topics worked on by student groups, for example, Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEO. The group was asked to create a new business and run a campaign on digital marketing channels with real budget. At the end of the project, there will be a pitching day and the group that displays the best campaign and pitching performance will get a prize from RevoU.

Yeaayyyyyy... Thats all for now :)
Currently, I'm still in RevoU's FSDM class and so far I can say that RevoU is the best investment I've ever spent (I know this course is expensive but trust me it is worth it!) Hopefully, my learning will run smoothly until I graduate and enter the RevoU Next program with no hassle.
